In the Year of Creativity 2026, the Dong Xuan - Bac Qua Market area was selected as the center of the Hanoi Creative Design Festival. Here, creative installation activities will take place, combining heritage with contemporary design, and piloting a commercial-cultural development model, connecting artisans, designers and small businesses. Dong Xuan Market is oriented to transform from a traditional market to a space of creative economy in the new period.

Within the framework of the "Creative Gathering" program, the Octagonal House - Ly Thai To Flower Garden area is the central display point, introducing the achievements of the Hanoi Creative Design Festival over the years and is a space for exchanging heritage and creativity.

At the Octagon House, the architectural model of Dong Xuan Market and research documents are displayed, helping the public better understand the historical and cultural values and role of the market in Hanoi's urban life. The exhibition space also introduces the book "Dong Xuan - Memory Space" compiled by the National Archives Center I in collaboration with Dong Xuan Joint Stock Company.
